Detailed Info:

Appearance: John's quite tall for his size at around 5'5". His constant running around and local trouble making has given him a lean build. His blonde hair grown out to his shoulders which is kept in a neat braid, with two long bangs that frame his round face. His eyes are goldish yellow and his face tends to be very expressive. His favorite clothes are generally a black long shirt with white trimmings and a red coat and carries with him several replacement shirts just in case.

Personality: John has the personality of your typical rebellious teenager. He lets nothing get in the way of what he wants and is quite blunt to everyone, including elders many times his age. He frequently tries to act like the cool kid, trying to come off as if he doesn't care about anyone but himself, when in reality he cares for his friends and family. He tries his best not to drop his problems on anyone else's shoulders but his own. Because of the lack of parentage in most of his early childhood, John has quite a few skills under his belt that are without a doubt illegal: Pick-pocketing, lock-picking and general sleight of hand tricks. That being said, Jack is not that bright at all and suffers from constant actions that just reek of stupidity.

It's also not within his nature to base someone on first impressions and he gives many people (both right or wrong) chances to turn around. As he's beginning to come of age, its become a recent past time for John to hit on girls just to see what their reaction will be, though he doesn't appreciate the constant laughing response.

History: John childhood was quite wild for a kid. His mother was a party animal that worked as a Exotic Dancer in Viridian while living Pallet town, so it was shock and dread when she discovered that she was pregnant. Jack was given life by pure accident and while normally a mother would cherish her new born child, Jack's mother saw her son as more of an obstacle from her joyous youth. Not wanting to be tied down, his mother usually had the male partner she was with at the time take care of her son and eventually take him to school. Most “dads” considered John a burden, but there were a few who enjoyed having John around. From those few, John learned quite a few random skills that he knows today. While he did decent in elementary school when it came to grades, he was terror for the faculty. At age 8, john effectively taught his classmates how to swear. He stole food from the cafeteria, took money from other classmates, openly talked down to his mentors, broke out of school on several occasions and even went so far as to tell his 6th grade teacher that she was a very colorful name. Despite the school's best efforts and discipline, the bad influence that came from John's home prevented John from being any more respectful. Just like his own mother, the school eventually gave up trying to support Jack.

Not that Jack really mind, the outside world was big, better and far more interesting. He explored every nook and cranny of the town, becoming locally infamous for his wild theiving antics and pranks. Though, if there was one thing that would bring jack back home and calm him down (to a point, anyway) It was pokemon. Ever since he could pronounce the name (Which is the COOLEST WORD EVER), he's been dreaming on becoming a pokemon master. Hoping to get rid of the little terror, the town was more than happy to support his dream.

Unfortunately, Jack is fairly miserable when it came to written tests and failed the breif exam three times before finally managing to pass it. He even nearly slept through the day new trainers would recieve their starters, just barely managing to grab the very last pokemon before they ran out for the year.

Other: Jack is deathly afraid of pidgeys. I'm serious, if a pidgey just happened to land on his shoulder, he would scream like a little girl.

How long owned: He just got it.
Other: It's not surprising that Jack's bulbasaur was the last of the starters for Pallet Town. For starters, Jack's bulbasaur is slightly smaller than others of his kind. This, however, doesn't stop it from trying to act like its the top dog. It's brash and rebellious behavior is almost equal to that of Jack, willing to fight the impossible matches and prove its worth. Unfortunately, it would do all this if it wasn't notoriously lazy and choose to take a sunbath nap instead of actually battle.
